Grilled marinated pork slices with avocado salsa

Ingredients
Approx. 500 g sauté slices of
pork 4 tbsp soya sauce 1-1˝ tbsp honey 1 tbsp sweet/strong chilli
sauce salt and pepper
Salsa 2-3 cloves of
garlic 1 onion 1 tbsp pickled jalapenos or a little Tabasco 1 red
pepper 1 yellow pepper 4 ripe tomatoes 1 ripe avocado 1 lemon 1
tsp ground cumin, if desired Accompaniments 400 g bread
What to do
Mix the soya sauce with the honey and
chilli sauce and season the meat with salt and pepper. Place the meat in the
marinade and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Turn the meat occasionally.
Mix finely-chopped garlic, onions and chilli with diced pepper and
tomatoes. Add the avocado, 1 tbsp lemon juice and cumin if desired. Mash it all
together with a fork. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then refrigerate for
at least 10 minutes, preferably for a couple of hours.
Remove the meat
from the marinade and barbecue for ˝-1 minute on each side.
Serve with
bread.
Tip
- Instead of sauté pork slices, you can use pork medallions.
